From two hours to one day. From beginner to advanced, ages 7 and up.
2-hour walk for beginners. In the heart of the Parc des Dérèches, we’ll walk along the Dranse river, where you’ll be delighted by the sight of squirrels and fish-eating jacks.
Intermediate and advanced 2 h ride: We’ll visit the small village of Essert-Romand, where a gallop awaits you with a view of the Nyon and Ressachaux mountains.

Confirmed 3 h hike: a short jaunt to Lac de Montriond, the Albertans’ former mountain pasture, and why not, if the weather is right, to Cascade d’Ardent. View of the lake and Roc d’Enfer. Wow!

Day hike: Head for the cirque de l’Alpage de Graydon via the village of Saint-Jean d’Aulps, where you’ll hear and perhaps see a few marmots and chamois preserved in the Roc d’Enfer nature reserve. Meal at the Buvette du roc d’Enfer with its famous Savoyard doughnuts. Return via Essert-Romand with views of the Aulps valley floor and surrounding peaks. Majestic!
